A Machrie Hotel Wedding
This wedding brought a few firsts - the first wedding since the Machrie Hotel on Islay was renovated, and the first wedding after our first COVID lockdown – what an amazing wedding it was too. Mel and Ian from Carnoustie were due to get married in a far-flung sunny location but fate, family and COVID brought them to Islay!
As the boys played their golf and the girls got ready, the mists and drizzle had rolled in and the outdoor ceremony they had hoped for was in doubt. With the ceremony looming, the mists cleared and presented them with a beautiful ceremony and stunning wedding sunset photographs to remember for a lifetime.
