An Islay Blessing

Love (and Lagavulin 16) brought Ben and Angelica together, and to Islay!

Having bonded over a mutual love of their favourite whisky, there was only one place for their blessing. On a beautiful sunny day, Rachel MacNeill (of Wild and Magic Islay & Islay Whisky Academy) put together a spiritual ceremony for the happy couple. Surrounded by the Islay sands, ocean and breeze, they stepped into their new lives together with their family around them, and witnessed by the Islay waves.

This Islay experience took in the beautiful bay at Port An Eas, plus a meal at the Islay Hotel, before a trip down to Dunyvaig Castle at Lagavulin Bay. The sunset distillery backdrop providing a perfect fitting end to a beautiful day.
