An Intimate Saligo Ceremony

Callen and Farren, from Washington, USA, had the most laid-back and intimate Islay ceremony.

Legally marrying in the US, they then decided on a very simple ceremony on Saligo Bay – just their vows and me conducting a handfasting for them.

We first visited their favourite Kilchoman Distillery, who kindly allowed us in the Warehouse for a few photos, after that it was down to Saligo Bay to exchange vows, share the quaich, complete the handfasting and cross into their new lives together.

They celebrated with a couple of drams, and a peat fire on the beach. A perfect Islay ceremony!
