A Singing Sands Elopement

As I arrived at Imogen and Andrew’s accommodation, the rain was absolutely bucketing down! With a hope of some clearer skies we headed down to meet Gemma from Argyll and Bute Registrars, and after a short chat, we thought that we’d get enough of a break in the weather, and we went for it! We’re so glad that we did too, the clouds parted for the ceremony on Singing Sands, and after a celebratory dram, we headed back to the car, just dodging another shower.

The one main advantage with the rain coming is the chance of a rainbow, and we got the most stunning one on our way down to Port an Eas. After some glorious sunshine, we did have another shower to dodge before I dropped Imogen and Andrew back at their accommodation to warm up!

Though you’re never guaranteed amazing weather for any Scottish wedding, when the weather isn’t blue skies all day you’re definitely guaranteed some stunning backdrops!
